Tidigare i \u00e5r annonserade man att listan som skall g\u00e4lla f\u00f6r 2020 \u00e4ven kommer inneh\u00e5lla Westchester County. De h\u00e4ngivna f\u00f6ljarna av Michelin guiden kunde snabbt l\u00e4gga ihop ett och ett och kom fram till att detta beslut tagits f\u00f6r att man ville g\u00f6ra det m\u00f6jligt att dela ut en eller flera stj\u00e4rnor till Dan Barbers, Blue Hill at Stone Barns. Och ingen blev besviken, f\u00f6r det var precis vad som h\u00e4nde. Blue Hill fick tv\u00e5 stj\u00e4rnor. Det finns \u00e4ven en Blue Hill p\u00e5 Manhattan som har en stj\u00e4rna.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c4ven koreanska Atomix blev en nykomling i kategorin med tv\u00e5 stj\u00e4rnor. Totalt finns det 14 restauranger med tv\u00e5 stj\u00e4rnor p\u00e5 listan. I gruppen med tre stj\u00e4rnor \u00e4r det samma som f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret. 5 stycken restauranger som kan kalla sig New Yorks b\u00e4sta, dessa \u00e4r:\u00a0Chef\u2019s Table at Brooklyn Fare, EMP (Eleven Madison Park), Le Bernardin, Masa och Per Se.\u00a0Totalt finns det nu 76 krogar med stj\u00e4rnor i omr\u00e5det.<\/p>\n<p>I det nya tillskottet Westchester blev det f\u00f6rutom Blue Hill, endast 8 stycken Bib Gourmands utdelat. Bland de lyckliga som fick ta emot utm\u00e4rkelsen f\u00f6r bra v\u00e4rde hittar man bland annat, Jean-Georges Vongerichten\u2019s\u00a0Inn at Pound Ridge, Michael Psilakis\u2019s\u00a0MP Taverna\u00a0i Irvington,\u00a0La Paneti\u00e8re\u00a0i Rye, the venerable\u00a0La Cr\u00e9maill\u00e8re\u00a0i Banksville,\u00a0Tarry Lodge\u00a0fr\u00e5n Joe Bastianich i Port Chester, och\u00a0X20 Xaviars\u00a0p\u00e5 Hudson-floden i Yonkers.<\/p>\n<p>Gwendal Poullannec som \u00e4r internationell direkt\u00f6r f\u00f6r Michelin Guiden s\u00e4ger i en intervju, <em>-\u201dIt\u2019s the 15th year Michelin has published a New York City guide, and that factored into the decision to expand to Westchester\u201d, \u201cIt\u2019s a natural extension, we review the best places wherever they are located. We have known about Blue Hill at Stone Barns for many years.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>De finns dem som s\u00e4ger att det \u00e4r bra att man ut\u00f6kar omr\u00e5det, men att man kanske borde g\u00f6ra det till Hudson Valley och Long Island ocks\u00e5, precis som San Francisco alltid gjort med \u201dthe Wine Country\u201d och andra omr\u00e5den s\u00f6der om stan.
